We mean artwork that combines modern ideas with classical style and intensive training. Fine Figurative Art then, is a return to the era in which rigorous academic study was the norm, a time in which an artist was judged not only by the ideas they wished to convey, but also in the mastery they had of the human figure, color, perspective and composition.
