About: American Jewelers Institute has been training jewelers for employment since 1986. We have refined the training techniques to prepare you for a rewarding career in the jewelry industry. Proper use of hand tools and power equipment; choosing the right materials; knowledgeable and creative problem solving; awareness of the best solutions to create jewelry; and a commitment to the highest quality craftsmanship. Projects include jewelry repairs, stone setting, fabrication, designing in wax, casting and mold making. Students learn the time-honored skills and methods that produce work of the highest standards. You will receive one on one instruction and will work ¿hands-on¿ with every project.
