Art is considered to be one of Mississippi's leading industries and has significant impact on the state's economy. So it should come as no surprise that job opportunities for artists will be abundant through 2012, especially for graphic and interior designers.
In the Magnolia State, tours of historic homes, antebellum mansions, and important churches are important ways for visitors to connect with Mississippi's roots. One can even tour Oprah Winfrey Road in Kosciusko and see the television star's childhood home, church, and family cemetery.
